Imo State Polytechnic is a polytechnic that sprang up from Michael Okpara College of Agriculture, Umuago, as the institution was upgraded to polytechnic status in 2007 after the bill was passed by the state assembly of Imo State.

Admission Requirements
● Candidate Must Have Five(5) credit passes at O level at the maximum of two sitting in WAEC,NECO,NABTEB or its equivalent
● Candidate must meet the JAMB Requirement of minimum of 4 subjects in alignment with JAMB Requirement and English Language is compulsory
● Candidate who applied for HND programme must have ND in relevant course of study
● Candidate who applied for HND must have at least one year Post ND Cognate Working experience with minimum of lower credit of 2.50 CGPA
● Candidate must print JAMB online result printout during the ND level admission
How to apply For IMOPOLY admission
● Go to the Polytechnic portal at https://www.imopoly.edu.ng/
● Once on the portal scroll to the navigation menu and click on apply now
● Fill the form and apply Now
● Once you fill the form click on it and it will direct you to the next page that will prompt you to make payment but first generate Invoice payment
● After generating payment, click on either to pay through the bank or through an online channel. To make payment through the bank channel, you will take the invoice with you to any commercial bank in Nigeria and make payment through Interswitch. Pay direct payment to Mapoly.
● For the online method, click on the invoice, enter your ATM details, and click on pay.
● Once payment is made, a notification will be sent to the Gmail that you used to make the payment.
● Print the application summary page and bring it along when coming for screening and verification.
Note: Candidates without JAMB are required to pay N3500 before even approaching the institution for admission’s sake.
