Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), popularly known as FUOYE or Oye Ekiti University, is a federal-owned university that is located in the ancient town of Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) was founded and established by the then President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as part of the nine federal universities that were created across all of Nigeria in 2012.

Academic activities commenced in 2013 even though the university was established in 2012. With the appointment of the first vice chancellor of the university, academic activities began in 2013.

Admission Requirements

● Candidates who applied to Federal University Oye Ekiti and obtained a minimum UTME score of 160 and above

● It is mandatory for every candidate to print out their UTME Result Slip (JAMB Result).

● All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained in not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed course.

● For Medicine and Surgery admission only, one sitting O Level result is acceptable.

● Candidates should check the screening portal for specific subject requirements for their chosen course.

● Direct Entry candidates must, in addition, possess at least two (2) A’ Level (or equivalent) credit passes in relevant subjects, OR an ND (Upper Credit), NCE (Credit Pass), HND (minimum of Lower Credit), OR a good first degree in another field.
