Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Oke Oho is a federally owned, specialized agriculture and technology-based university. It is one of the newly established universities in Nigeria; the university was established in the year 2025.
Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), is a newly established federal university that was established by the federal government in 2025 as part of its commitment and dedication to increasing access to higher learning education, which in turn will strengthen national capacity in agriculture, science, and technology.
The Federal University was established in Oke Ogun, Okeho, Oyo State. Following approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) and in synchronization with the approval from the Federal Government and National Universities Commission (NUC), the University Governing Board and the first and current Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaniyi Jacob Babayemi.
Academic activities commenced in November 2025, whereby students were admitted into various programs in the institution, including agricultural programs, science programs, and modern technology programs.
Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Okeho is one of the major contributions to the development of Okeogun, the communities around the institution, and the benefit of the whole company at large.

Admission Requirement
• Minimum age: 16 years at the time of admission.
• Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and relevant subjects (maximum of two sittings).
• UTME candidates must meet the approved JAMB cut-off mark and choose FUNATO as their first choice.
• Direct Entry candidates must possess valid A-level, OND, or NCE qualifications.
