Federal Polytechnic offa is a federal owned polytechnic that is located in Offa,Kwara state.The institution was established in the year 1992 under the leadership of the military ruler Ibrahim Babangida.
The establishment of federal Polytechnic Offa began in 1991 when the military rule in the person of Ibrahim Babangida Made a visit to the town of Offa in 1991,the visit gave birth to the establishment of the polytechnic in 1992.
The establishment of federal polytechnic in Offa in 1992 was welcomed by the resident of the town that the late Olofa of Offa Oba Mustapha Olawoore Olanipekun Ariwajoye II constituted and setup a task force that comprise of eight members in order to see the sucessful take off of the polytechnic.
The polytechnic was administered under task force until 2000 when the first governing council was put in place and this has been running,the current chairman of the board Chief Okey Ezenwa has been in command since 2013.

National Diploma (ND)-Full-Time
● Candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
● Results must be from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent
●Candidate results should not be more than two sittings in any examination.
